Two new stores opening at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora

Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora announced plans for two new stores. The Beauty Space opened Wednesday and high-performance outfitter Arc'teryx is expected to open later this month.

These latest additions are among 27 designer and name-brand outlets to open at Chicago Premium Outlets since the center's highly-publicized expansion last August, bringing the total number of stores at the popular outlet center to more than 150.

One of only two of its kind nationwide, The Beauty Space offers bargain-hunters everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent on a wide selection of top-of-the-line Coty fragrances, cosmetics, skin and body care products from legendary Parisian designer Francois Coty.

Coming soon, the new Arc'teryx will showcase some of the world's most meticulously-crafted extreme-performance outerwear and equipment. Based in the mountain wilderness of the Canadian Coast, and named for the prehistoric Archaeopteryx Lithographica, the first reptile to develop feathers for flight, Arc'teryx is known for its continual evolution in designing quality products that provide performance under the most extreme conditions. This will be the brand's second outlet in the Midwest; the first being at sister Simon center Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets near Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Last summer's multimillion dollar, 250,000-square-foot expansion of Chicago Premium Outlets increased the center's footprint by more than half, bringing the total outdoor shopping space to 688,000 square feet, accented by dynamic amenities such as fire places, art installations and a pond. New stores opening at the center over the past several months include anchor Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, Clarins, Columbia Sportswear, Finish Line, Harry & David, Marbles the Brain Store, Movado Company Store, Robert Graham, Tommy Hilfiger Kids, UGG Australia, Vince and Wellensteyn, along with larger showplaces for some of the center's keystone brands such as Coach, Cole Hann, Guess Factory Store, Michael Kors, Nike Factory Store, Under Armour and Vera Bradley.

In addition to Chicago Premium Outlets, Simon owns and operates five popular shopping centers in the Chicago area including Gurnee Mills, Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets, Orland Square, Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets and Woodfield Mall.
