Morgan Harbour completes Presence building in Romeoville

WILLOWBROOK - Morgan/Harbour has completed a ground-up 28,928 square foot medical office building for Presence Health Group in Romeoville.

Located at 500 S. Weber Road, the new Presence Healing Arts Pavilion is specifically designed for the senior community and includes a full imaging suite with CT scanning, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry and a future MRI. The new structure features 26 exam and procedure rooms, labs, and private offices.

Morgan/Harbour also constructed a hotel-like concierge entry and gathering space with fireplace in the lobby. High-end finishes were used throughout. The brick and metal structure features a dramatic three-story glass curtain wall tower with large porte-cochere at the main entry. The site also encompasses a parking area, radiant heated sidewalks and extensive site lighting.

It is the second medical office building constructed by Morgan/Harbour for Presence Health Group. The previous location was in Plainfield.

Ben Warriner, executive vice president of Morgan / Harbour served as the project executive, with Andy MacMillan as senior project manager/team leader. Project manager was Amy DePinto, and Jim Ritchey was the site superintendent. Jensen & Halstead, Ltd. provided the architectural services. Hammes Company was project manager on behalf of the developer and owner, Hammes Partners, a private equity fund focused on health care real estate.
