Herrington Inn awarded top honor for 25th consecutive year

The Herrington Inn & Spa in Geneva was awarded the AAA four-diamond award for the 25th consecutive year.

AAA Diamond ratings for hotels represent a combination of overall quality, range of facilities and level of services offered by the property, according to officials at the spa.

The descriptive ratings are assigned exclusively to properties that meet and uphold AAA” rigorous approval standards. This prestigious accolade is bestowed on just 5.9 percent of the nearly 28,000 hotels approved by AAA.

“We have a beautiful facility situated in a scenic location,” said Paul Ruby, president of Shodeen Hospitality. “But I think what really sets us apart from other properties is the service that our employees provide. We have a great team here that sincerely enjoys exceeding our guest's expectations.”

AAA four-diamond requirements include having refined, stylish with upscale attributes, extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

Herrington Inn, is located on the Fox River offering 61 individually appointed guest rooms complete with private balconies, fireplaces and luxurious baths with whirlpool tubs. The Pump House offers unique event and meetings space. Atwater's Restaurant serves American Cuisine seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Spa at the Herrington is open to the public seven days a week offering spa body treatments.
