Medline promotes Marban to chief marketing officer

Medical equipment manufacturer and supplier Medline has promoted Lesly Marban to chief marketing officer.

Marban will oversee Northfield-based Medline's overall brand strategy focused on finding new ways to reach and engage customers to help position the company for continued growth. Managing an in-house team of more than 100 people, she is responsible for leading market insights, creative, digital, mobile, e-commerce and PR.

Marban has been with Medline since 2011. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of marketing for the U.S. post-acute care market. Under her leadership, Medline recorded 11% CAGR growth of a diverse $1.5 billion portfolio by developing effective customer engagement strategies and tactics, working closely with key industry influencers and Medline's more than 250 post-acute sales reps. Her emphasis on creating value beyond product and meeting customers' needs led to Medline's growth in post-acute care.

Marban is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a degree in accounting, and a master's of business administration from DePaul University.
