The Buffalo Grove Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening for David Weekly Homes and its Easton Station Model Homes. Chamber Executive Director Roger Sosa joined chamber president, Dr. Gregg Stern, Buffalo Grove Village President Beverly Sussman and Adam Coolidge of David Weekly Homes for the ceremony.
The Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce was part of a ribbon cutting for Move the Beat Adult Dance Studio at 691 Lee St. in Des Plaines. The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce along with members of the community, gathered at MS Moda, 209 S. Cook St. in Barrington to celebrate this new specialty boutique's opening. MS Moda is a European manufacturer of wedding gowns since 1991 and has now opened its only U.S. showroom to the public in downtown Barrington.
Strong U Gym in Villa Park held a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Owners Todd Johnson and Ben Chantos provide women's strength training classes and personal training.

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce cut the ceremonial blue ribbon, left, to officially open the new location for Bussenger Financial Group, now located on the third Floor of 1000 Hart Road in Barrington. Bussenger Financial Group is a family owned, fiduciary and independent wealth management firm which has moved from Cary.
