DCG Roofing buys Melrose Park building

ELMHURST - Darwin Realty recently represented FSC Investments Ltd. in the sale of a 20,000 square foot building at 2045 Janice Ave. in Melrose Park to DCG Roofing Solutions, Inc. for $710,000.

DCG Roofing selected the 1.35-acre site and facility as a new location for the business which will be relocating from 1285 Rand Rd. in Des Plaines, IL. The roofing contractor chose the property primarily due to the large site complete with a great loading area, large fenced parking lot and outdoor storage area. The building boasts 18' clear height ceilings, four drive-in doors, one exterior dock, and possible Class 6 B status.

Jeffrey Provenza, vice president of Darwin, represented FSC Investments. Brown Commercial Group's Trinity Scurto represented the buyer in the transaction.

"The demand for buildings that can be purchased in Melrose Park has increased significantly, especially with users looking to purchase free-standing buildings," Provenza said.
