Lakemoor attorney gets 2 year suspension for misusing clients' funds

A Lakemoor attorney has been suspended by the Illinois Supreme Court for two years after misusing funds and neglecting client matters, the Northwest Herald is reporting.

Magdalene R. Wilson, who practices on Bay Road in Lakemoor, neglected eight clients' matters between 2014 and 2015 and misused funds intended for security retainers and filing fees, the Northwest Herald is reporting.

Her suspension, recommended by the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, is effective April 10 for two years and until further order of the court.
