Buffalo Grove youth athletic training center opening Saturday

RedLine Athletics, a youth athletic training center for boys and girls ages 8 to 18, is opening its first location in Illinois on Saturday, April 1.

RedLine's sports performance specialists work with young athletes to be better prepared for participation in all sports: baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, football, swimming, horseback riding, volleyball. A "holistic" program promotes good nutrition, positive study habits and participation in sports to develop leadership and confidence, Ron Klein, president of RedLine Illinois, said in a news release.

RedLine's training staff has experience in college, semiprofessional or professional sports. RedLine has partnered with Fusionetics, a computer-based program that integrates sports science, clinical application and technology, according to the news release. With Fusionetics, the weak parts of the body are identified, with a focus on decreasing sports injuries by developing those areas.

No appointments are necessary. Each 90 minute workout, starting at the top of every hour, delivers customized training. Workouts begin as a group for warmup, followed by small groups for sport specific training.

The Buffalo Grove location features two golf simulators, a batting and pitching cage, Ninja style exercise equipment, a rock climbing wall, free weights, basketball with a collegiate backboard and a high intensity training area.

RedLine is located at 1455 Busch Parkway. For information, call (847) 243-8199, or email info@redlineillinois.com. The business is a franchise of a company based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
