NAPERVILLE -- Fox Valley SCORE presents its third Annual Small Business Forum on from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2 at Northern Illinois University Conference Center, 1120 E. Diehl Road in Naperville.
The forum will focus on the three keys to building a better business: Planning, Execution and Success. Sessions include:
• Building a plan
• Getting off the ground
• How to price your product or service
• Financial tool you'll need: managing your cash flow
In addition, attendees will meet and have the chance to network with other small business owners to gain insight into the plans and tactics they've used to achieve their goals.
The keynote speaker for the event is Becky Anderson, co-owner of Anderson's Bookshops and Anderson's Bookfair in Naperville, Aurora, Downers Grove and LaGrange. Anderson will speak about the impact of small businesses on the local community. She is the fifth generation to comanage the family-owned and operated businesses, which had their beginnings in Naperville in 1875.
