Bottle and Bottega Homewood celebrates first anniversary

An interview with Greg and Darcie Loudon, owners of Bottle and Bottega Homewood. They recently celebrated the first anniversary of the business.

Q: It's been about a year now since you've opened. How has it been going?

A: Seriously, just fantastic. When we opened, we weren't sure what to expect.

We thought we'd have some fun nights and meet some nice people but our guests have completely blown away our expectations. We couldn't be happier that we get to spend our nights with such fun, amazing groups of people.

Q: So, you think you made the right choice coming to Homewood?

A: Absolutely. This town and the people in and around it are the best. Night after night we meet one wonderful person after another. I mean, we're on hugging terms with our guests at this point.

Q: I've heard you do a lot of fundraising?

A: Yes, we love it! Honestly, fundraising is near and dear to our hearts and to the franchise. When we signed on we knew that giving back would be a large part of our business. That's one of the reasons we chose Bottle and Bottega, their commitment to charitable works. And having partners like the South Suburban Humane Society and South Suburban Family Shelter make it that much easier. They're great organizations with kind and caring people.

Q: Do you have any goals for this upcoming year?

A: Corporate parties and team building events. We've had some our first year and they were awesome, the feedback was very positive from both the employer and the employees. We feel passionate about extending this experience to all of the local businesses and let them know what great team building events we offer.

Q: It sounds like things are going well, congratulations. Is there anything you want to leave our readers with?

A: Yes. We're really excited to be offering a fantastic variety of art forms in our studio. Our new favorite are the new wood pallets. They're cute, hip and are already proving to be super popular.

Check out our events calendar at Bottleandbottega.com/Homewood and check out the large selection of art we offer.

If you haven't been here before, c'mon in and have some fun. If you have been here before, we love you and miss you, c'mon back soon.
