Willowbrook-based Morgan/Harbour Construction was awarded the construction contract to build two speculative warehouse facilities totaling approximately 560,000 square feet for CenterPoint Properties in the CenterPoint Logistics Center - O'Hare in Franklin Park.

Located on a 33-acre parcel, CenterPoint O'Hare 1 will feature 225,891 square feet with 32-foot clear height, 50 exterior docks and parking for 68 trailers. CenterPoint O'Hare 2 will total 333,696 square feet with 36-foot clear height, 92 exterior docks, and parking for 76 trailers.

CenterPoint Properties hired Morgan/Harbour to complete both core and shell facilities. Both facilities will be located on Seymour Avenue within the O'Hare industrial submarket, offering access to O'Hare International Airport and Chicago's full transit offerings.

Design and construction of the two new warehouses also include above ground improvements and systems.

Morgan / Harbour's construction team includes Brian Smith as team leader, Craig Tolan as senior project manager, Dan Wolf as senior superintendent, and Lara Beresoff as construction field coordinator. Cornerstone Architects of Itasca is providing the architectural design services. Civil engineering design is by Spaceco, Inc. of Rosemont.

Colliers International, represented by Jim Estus, SIOR, will market the properties for lease on behalf of CenterPoint Properties. Completion of the new warehouses is scheduled for summer 2018.
