New chamber president named in St. Charles

Jim Di Ciaula has been named the next president & CEO of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, effective Jan. 3.

Di Ciaula and his daughter Celina, have been residents of the St. Charles community for several years. Di Ciaula has recently retired after almost 3 decades of service at BMO Harris Bank. He received an undergraduate degree in accounting, obtained his CPA and subsequently received an MBA in Management and Finance from DePaul University, Chicago.

He has spent more than 35 years in the financial services industry, where he has held several leadership positions. Di Ciaula is an analytical thinker, who will bring a diverse set of skills and experiences to the Chamber, including his strong ability to implement strategic planning goals, chamber officials said.

He is passionate about the customer and the customer experience, which he intends to bring to his work at the chamber, as we continue to focus on the value we deliver to our members.

In addition, to his corporate experience, he is an active community leader, who is passionate about building relationships and giving back. He is currently president and founder of Random Acts Matter and holds a leadership role for Community Impact & Outreach at Christ Community Church. He is the recent past board president of TriCity Family Services and has served on other nonprofit/membership boards, including Common Threads, The Illinois CPA Society and Bank Administration Institute of Illinois.
