Three Merrill Lynch advisers make Financial Time, Forbes top lists

Three suburban Merrill Lynch wealth management advisers were recently recognized as "top advisers" by the Financial Times and Forbes magazines.

Jordan Gelb was recognized to the Financial Times' 401 Top Retirement Advisors list for 2017. Gelb has more than 30 years experience working with high net worth individuals and with retirement benefit plan sponsors to design and service all types of defined-contribution plans. Gelb graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in management and organizations. He lives in Northbrook with his wife Jill and their two children.

Benjamin Klein recently was recognized by Forbes magazine on its "America's Top 250 Wealth Advisors" list for 2017. Klein joined Merrill Lynch in 2002 and helps craft customized wealth management strategies designed to address each client's short-term needs and long-term goals. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation and the Certified Financial Planner certification. Klein received a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He and his wife, Michelle, and their two children make their home in the Chicagoland area. He is based in Northbrook.

Rod Loewenthal recently was recognized by Forbes magazine on its "America's Top 250 Wealth Advisors" list for 2017. Loewenthal has more than 20 years of financial services experience and is a specially qualified senior portfolio manager who helps clients pursue their goals by building and managing their own personalized strategies. Rod earned his bachelor's degree with honors in history from the University of Michigan. He resides with his wife, Tracy, and their three children in Highland Park.
