Benefitexpress expands in Schaumburg

Benefitexpress, a provider of cloud-based technology solutions and services for employee benefits administration, said that its Schaumburg headquarters has expanded, allowing the firm to increase its staff capacity by hiring as many as 100 new employees across all areas of the business.

The addition of new team member roles, primarily within its product development, process improvement, implementation services, client delivery and call center teams, is a result of measured, incremental growth throughout the enterprise.

"Exceeding our growth goals has allowed us to continue to provide career opportunities in the coming year, and we take great pride in this," said CEO Michael Sternklar. "We believe our success is owed to the hard work of professionals striving for excellence. We're reinvesting in our team through recognition and rewards, new and challenging opportunities to grow, and of course, our goal to become recognized as a Great Place to Work."

Over the past year, benefitexpress partnered with 10 new full-service employer clients and established nine new broker channel relationships representing an additional 85 employer companies. These new clients spanned across industries including national retailers, health care and manufacturing.

"The Chicago area is well-positioned with a talented benefits administration workforce, and proximity to airports allows us to serve our clients nationwide - as well as bring together our team members from across the country. We look forward to bringing in more benefits-wise, relationship-driven staff expertise to the company throughout 2018," Sternklar said.
