Camping World acquires two South Dakota RV companies
RV retailer Camping World said it is expanding in South Dakota with the acquisition of Spader's RV Center in Sioux Falls and New Prairie RV Southtown in Worthing.
"We remain focused on brand expansion and top notch customer service, as we continue to grow in the South Dakota market with the successful establishments of Spader's RV Center and New Prairie RV Southtown joining the Camping World family," said Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World Holdings, based in Lincolnshire.
Camping World currently operates an RV SuperCenter in the Rapid City area of South Dakota.
"We are pleased to expand our dealership footprint in this market while maintaining both companies' commitment to superior sales and service," said Brent Moody, Chief Operating Officer of Camping World Holdings.
Since the company's founding in 1966, Camping World has more than 140 retail locations in 36 states and a comprehensive e-commerce platform. Coupled brands including Erehwon Mountain Outfitters, Gander Outdoors, Good Sam, Overton's, The House and Windward/W82, Camping World Holdings has become well known for outdoor experiences.
