Murray brothers' 'Caddyshack' bar open Tuesday in Rosemont

Tee time for the new Murray Bros. Caddyshack sports bar in Rosemont is 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The public opening for the 8,600-square-foot restaurant at 9546 Balmoral Ave., on the west side of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare hotel, comes a little more than a year after plans were publicly announced.

The space includes a bar with 32 TVs, seating for 237, a fireplace, private dining area, and retail store that will sell themed items from the 1980 "Caddyshack" film that starred Bill Murray. Interior decor features photos of Murray and his brothers, who grew up in Wilmette and caddied at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka.
