DuPage Medical Group appoints Baker senior vice president, finance

Downers Grove-based DuPage Medical Group said Kelly Baker has joined its executive team in the new position of senior vice president, finance.

Baker joins DMG with nearly 15 years of focused experience in the financial industry, including more than 10 years working in a health care organization. Baker will report to DMG's chief financial officer and will have functional responsibility in accounting, treasury and tax matters, as well as work closely with the company's financial planning and analysis team. In addition to her core responsibilities, Baker will work with DMG's stakeholders, staff and its business partners, where she will take the lead in long-term strategic financial planning and reporting annual plans, quarterly forecasts and periodic reviews.

Prior to joining DMG, Kelly was most recently senior vice president, finance at pharmacy benefits management company OptumRx. She oversaw several key acquisitions and mergers and was instrumental in scaling the company's revenue from $1 billion to more than $63 billion. Baker also previously served at Goldman Sachs as an equities trader and financial analyst.

She received a bachelor's degree from Union College before earning her master's degree from New York University.
