Levinson joins Lavelle Law

Attorney Patti S. Levinson has joined Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law's Family Law practice group as of counsel.

Levinson brings experience in family and divorce law, particularly in the areas of divorce mediation and collaborative resolution. In addition to receiving her B.A. from Binghamton University in New York and graduating with High Honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Levinson has completed the Divorce Mediation Training Program at Northwestern University and the Collaborative Training Program at the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin.

In recent years she has been recognized for her work by the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois and the International Academy of Collaborative Law Professionals.

Levinson is a member of the Chicago-North Shore chapter of Hadassah and has been involved in planning fundraising activities to benefit worldwide medical care and research. She is a regular participant in the Northwest Suburban Bar Association's Divorce Court and Paternity Court Facilitator programs, providing advice and assistance to parties without legal representation.

"Our Family Law practice group has always been among the most highly regarded in our firm," said Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "Adding someone of Patti Levinson's background as Of Counsel will only strengthen our reputation for family law and divorce services."
