The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the branding ribbon cutting ceremony for Pure Moves Yoga (formerly Sure Movements Yoga). Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke, Power Moves Yoga owners Andrew and Crystal Krause, Holly Deitchman, Batavia Chamber President and other esteemed community representatives were in attendance. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for The Republic of Letters, 1 W. State St., Geneva. Geneva Chamber of Commerce Membership Director Judy Carroll and Mayor Kevin Burns hold the ribbon while Executive Director Ryan Block and Program Director Cathy Borders cut the ribbon.
The City of Des Plaines presented a check to the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce to assist with the cost of its new exterior awning. The funds came from the Business Assistance Grant Program, where the city will help reimburse for building improvements such as new awnings and interior build-outs.
