SomerCor names Klug to lead business development

SomerCor, one of Chicago's leading Small Business Administration lenders and a top Certified Development Corporation nationally, has appointed Scott Klug as senior vice president of business development.

Klug will serve as an integral member of the senior management team and brings with him decades of sales leadership experience. His primary responsibilities will include expanding the firm's market presence for the company's 504 Loan program among financial institutions, small business owners and their advisors, including commercial real estate professionals.

Prior to joining Chicago-based SomerCor, Klug has most recently held the position of regional vice president, Central and Western U.S. and field sales for REIS, Inc, where he established the top revenue producing region within the company. Klug also previously served as the chief sales and marketing officer for Rabine Group and spent nearly 15 years with CoStar Group as regional vice president of sales, Central and Southwest U.S. regions.
