Cedar Capital hosts financial wine tasting event

In celebration of their new home at 330 E. Main St., Cedar Capital, a registered investment adviser, will host a free community wine tasting and financial discussion.

The event is called Wine & Wealth and will take at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Barrington's historic White House, 145 W. Main St. in Barrington.

The evening is designed as an opportunity for community members to engage with Cedar Capital advisers and discuss investing in a relaxed environment. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and will learn about some of the most common mistakes investors tend to make.

Financial Planner Thomas Koleski will host the event. "We are so excited to make our home in Barrington. We would love everyone to come out, enjoy some great wine and learn something new about investing."
