Chabraja joins Ice Miller's tax exempt group

Ice Miller LLP announced Michael Chabraja has joined the firm as a partner in its tax exempt group.

Chabraja concentrates his practice on representing large trade associations and other nonprofit entities in a variety of risk management issues. He provides advice on matters relating to antitrust, governance, intellectual property and member disputes for nonprofit organizations, including professional societies and trade associations.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, he was a partner at an international law firm where he maintained a litigation practice and developed a special concentration on the representation of nonprofit organizations. Chabraja's litigation experience includes professional liability matters, corporate control disputes, defamation, fraud and trademark and patent infringement. In addition, he has considerable experience representing clients in litigation involving alleged breaches of bylaws, defamation and breach of fiduciary duties.

Chabraja received his juris doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and is admitted to practice in Illinois.
