Eaglewood Resort restaurant renovation complete

The Eaglewood Resort & Spa, 1401 Nordic Road, Itasca, said the new restaurant and renovated patio are complete and open to the public.

The next phase of the renovation is slated for completion this fall and will feature upgrades to the resort's bedding and provides updates to the resorts event pavilion with the addition of floor-to-ceiling windows for views of the golf course.

Eaglewood Resort & Spa is a 104-acre property that includes 295 guest rooms and suites, four dining venues, an 18-hole golf course, fitness center, full service spa, bowling alley and 37,000 square feet of conference and event space.

"We consider ourselves a unique resort in Illinois on many levels and now we are enhanced due to our recent renovation," said General Manager Eric Bates. "We now have more dining, relaxation and entertainment options than ever before. Guest satisfaction and enjoyment is our number one priority and we are excited to share everything the one-of-a-kind Eaglewood Resort & Spa has to offer locals, families, travelers and business professionals alike."

The newly renovated Prairie River Restaurant offers views of the golf course as well as an intimate outdoor patio and grand fire pit. Serving American cuisine with a full-service bar, Prairie River's menu includes appetizers, sandwiches, salads, entrees, wood-fired pizza and desserts from 11:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Prairie River's bar, offering handcrafted cocktails and a large selection of popular local brews, is open late Friday and Saturday until 1 a.m. Prairie River is home to the resort's popular and free Sounds of Summer concert series.
