Public hearing on Schaumburg comprehensive plan March 6

The village of Schaumburg is inviting the public to attend a Tuesday, March 6, public hearing where participants will be able to provide feedback on updates that have been recommended for the village's new comprehensive plan.

The plan is an official policy guide for land use, development and community improvement in Schaumburg.

The public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Russ Parker Hall at the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, 101 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg.

An overview of the plan will be provided and those who attend will have an opportunity to provide comments on the draft plan.

The public can view the draft plan by visiting the website at bit.ly/2C3nzn9.

Following the hearing, the comprehensive plan will be considered by the village board for approval.
