Free food for kids at Hanover Park library
Free lunches and snacks are available to kids at the Schaumburg Township District Library's Hanover Park Branch, 1266 Irving Park Road in Hanover Park.
Lunches are served from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and snacks from 4 to 5 p.m. on the same days. The food must be eaten in the library's Program Room.
The Summer Food Service Program is offered through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by the Illinois State Board of Education.
Anyone under 18 is welcome to stop by for a free lunch and/or snack Monday through Friday during the times listed above. No documentation is required to receive the food.
