Schaumburg Twp. assessor can assist with senior exemptions
The Schaumburg Township assessor's Office is available to assist seniors with property tax exemptions.
Senior Exemptions are available for homeowners born in 1952 or earlier with a 2016 income of $65,000 or under.
Seniors who file after July 18 will receive a refund. All savings apply to second installment property tax bills, due Aug. 1.
Property owners who need assistance with renewal forms can call the township assessor's office at (847) 884-0030 or visit it at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
