N. Barrington to meet on Dimucci plan
North Barrington officials have called a special village board meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at village hall, 111 Old Barrington Road, for the discussion and consideration of potential action regarding the controversial proposal for 800,000 square feet of commercial development on the 109-acre Dimucci property at the southeast corner of Rand and Old McHenry roads. The meeting’s agenda calls for portions to be in both open and closed session. Lake County officials are currently considering the development proposal, which North Barrington believes is in conflict with its boundary agreement with Hawthorn Woods.
