Glenview accounting firm expands again

Weiss & Company, a Glenview-based accounting firm, is expanding again with the addition of staff and services.

CPAs Karen Leavitt and Sandy Siegal and their staff have joined the firm, bringing experience with high net worth clientele and family office services, said Weiss Managing Partner Dan Fortman. "We are excited to welcome Karen and Sandy to our firm and know that their experience and dedication to exceptional service will help us to further serve our client base," Fortman said.

The CPAs ran Leavitt Siegal in Chicago before working for another firm for the past 11 months.

This marks the second significant expansion for Weiss in 18 months. The company, that now has 50 employees, also added Allen C. Berg, CPA and his staff.

Berg and his team brought extensive experience with high net worth clientele and family office services to the firm as well.

The company also expanded its office space at 2700 Patriot Boulevard. Weiss & Company, a 2016 Daily Herald Business Ledger Best Place to Work in Illinois award recipient, has been in operation for almost 50 years. The firm is divided into accounting and auditing, tax preparation and advisory and consulting services.
