In time for the release of the new "Solo: A Star Wars Story" movie this weekend, Kings Dining & Entertainment in Rosemont will be serving up two new themed drinks Friday through Monday, May 25-28. The Mai Tai Fighter combines spiced rum, fresh fruit juices, almond liqueur and a dark rum float topped with Tie Fighter fruit for $9.99. The Did It All for the Wookiee is a mix of vanilla vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur and sweet cream with a Wookiee-themed garnish for $8.99. The entertainment venue also welcomes summer with new from-scratch menu items including the crab rangoon dip ($10.99), Bang Bang Teri-Dactyl wings and cauliflower "vings" ($8.99-$17.49), the Impossible vegan burger ($10.99), kale and red apple salad ($10.99), brats and bites (Guinness bratwurst with sauerkraut, pretzel bites and mashed potatoes for $16.99), Baja grilled chicken ($13.99), the strawberry shortcake sundae (strawberry ice cream with fresh strawberries and cherries, topped with two slices of shortcake and whipped cream for $12.99) and more. Free steak for grads and dads

Yes, you read that right: Pete Miller's Steak and Seafood Naperville is offering Class of 2018 grads and dads a free steak dinner now through Sunday, June 17. For 2018 grads, all you have to do is show your 2018 diploma folder to the server to redeem, while dads must mention they are celebrating Father's Day. The offer, a $50 value, also requires the purchase of at least one regularly priced meal for another guest. Reservations are required. Starting Tuesday, May 29, Olive Garden wants to give diners a little control with the new "create your own lasagna" special. Diners can stack the four-cheese lasagna with 24 different options, including sauces (meat, marinara, Alfredo and five-cheese marinara) and toppings such as garden veggies, cheese ravioli, mini meatballs, chicken Fritta, grilled chicken and sautéed shrimp.
