Law firm adds attorney; acquires firm

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS — Drost Kivlahan McMahon & O'Connor LLC recently added a 16th attorney, Harry Bartosiak, and acquired the law firm of Kerry W. Pearson.

Bartosiak, an Arlington Heights resident and the founding partner of Bartosiak Law Firm in Inverness, is experienced in health care law, corporate law, estate planning and administration and real estate. The addition of Bartosiak provides DKMO with an opportunity to expand its health care law practice. Two staff members from Bartosiak Law Firm have also joined DKMO this week.

Pearson, a longtime Arlington Heights resident and attorney, practiced in the areas of estate planning and administration, business transactions and real estate. Pearson will finish up pending client matters before officially retiring in the coming months. Meanwhile, all new business and new matters from existing clients will be referred to attorneys at DKMO.

“Harry Bartosiak is a talented lawyer, who is bringing his established client base and considerable skills to DKMO and its clients,” Managing Partner Pat McMahon said. “We are also honored and pleased to have been chosen by Kerry Pearson as the new recommended home for the clients that he has served for over 40 years.”
