Arlington 425 project going to plan commission Wednesday

The Arlington 425 redevelopment project proposed for downtown Arlington Heights will go before the village plan commission Wednesday night.

The commission's review of the project, which would encompass the northern three-quarters of an empty block on the west side of downtown, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the third floor board room at village hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

The proposal calls for three buildings with heights up to 12 stories and a mix of residential and commercial uses.

Plan commissioners will issue a recommendation to the village board and hold a public hearing, which will be open to the public for comments on the proposal.
