Food drive to benefit Chicago depository

WAUKEGAN - Abra Auto Body Repair of America locations in Lake County are launching the Rhythm Restoration Food Drive now through May 10.

All cash and food donations collected will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help keep their shelves stocked during summer months, when demand from children and their families is highest.

Thousands of Abra teammates across the country have committed to being a part of a nationwide goal to collect 5 million meals benefiting more than 85 food banks.

Collection centers for cash and food donations are located at each of Abra's 3 locations in Waukegan, Grayslake and Zion. Online cash donations can also be made at FoodDriveDonations.com.

"Our purpose is to restore the rhythm of your life for our customers, teammates, clients, and communities we serve," said Steve Grimshaw, Chief Executive Officer. "We are equally committed to help restore the rhythm of regular meals for at-risk children over the summer."
