Barrington Family Expo set for April 5

BARRINGTON - The Barrington Family Expo will offer something for everyone, from fun activities for kids to senior resources, free screenings, giveaways and local youth entertainment.

The annual event will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, April 5 at Barrington High School main gym, 616 W. Main St. It is co-hosted by the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) and the Barrington High School Fine Arts Department,

Event highlights include entertainment by Barrington Children's Choir, Barrington Dance Ensemble, Bataille Academie of the Danse, and Dancewerks, miniaturetherapy horses and photos with the Easter Bunny, as well as food, refreshments, and nearly 90 booths showcasing business and community resources.

Admission and parking to the Family Expo is free. Attendees can also enter to win a Barrington area shopping spree.
