Leeco promotes Irby, Donaghey to new positions

Leeco Steel in Lisle has announced the appointment of Jeff Irby as e-commerce product manager and Owen Donaghey as digital commerce manager.

The newly-created roles will lead new digital sales initiatives for the company. Both positions will report to Leeco Steel's Executive Vice President Jason Fredstrom.

Irby will focus on the development, implementation and management of product pricing strategies and customer buying trends. He joined Leeco Steel in 2000 and served in sales roles until promoted to director of product control on Leeco's purchasing team in 2010.

Donaghey will be responsible for leading the company's implementation of a digital customer dashboard and e-commerce platform. He will also work closely with sales leadership to incorporate sales technology and digital customer tools into overall sales strategy.

Donaghey joined Leeco Steel's sales team in 2011 before joining Irby's team in 2013 as product control coordinator.

"As Leeco Steel continues to develop its digital sales and marketing strategies, we felt a need for distinct leadership in what we feel is the next chapter for Leeco, as well as our industry," said Fredstrom. "Given their deep understanding of our industry and business, Jeff and Owen are the perfect team to spearhead this initiative."
