Breakfast, brunch restaurant to open in Oak Brook
OAK BROOK - A national breakfast and brunch restaurant chain said it is moving into the Chicago market with its opening in the Shops of Oak Brook Place March 15.
First Watch operates more than 400 restaurants nationwide. The Oak Brook location will be the 35th First Watch restaurant to open during the past 12 months, the company said.
First Watch's restaurants at 155 W. 22nd St. will encompass various features of the brand's new restaurant format, built to optimize its off-premise capabilities. With its takeout business increasing about 600% percent since the onset of the pandemic, First Watch's new 4,300-square-foot restaurant layout features a separate restaurant entrance and service area for takeout and delivery orders, the company said.
