'The Profit' star to guest at Rock The Cradle Gala

EVANSTON - Entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis will make a guest appearance of at this year's Rock The Cradle Gala to benefit the nonprofit organization The Cradle.

The 23rd Annual Rock The Cradle Gala fundraiser will be held on Oct. 14 at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago. The event has raised over $4 million to support programs and services for pregnant women, children and families provided by The Cradle, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Lemonis is a businessman, investor, television personality, and philanthropist. He is Chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises and the star of The Profit, a CNBC reality show that focuses on his work to save faltering businesses. Born in Beirut, Lemonis was adopted at the age of nine months and brought to the United States. He directly understands the impact adoption makes in the lives of the over 135,000 children who are adopted across the United States each year.
