Lincolnshire Marriott Resort completes $25 million renovation
Fireworks, tours, food and beverage samples were part of the recent grand reopening of the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort marking the completion of a $25 million renovation.
About 500 Lake County business leaders and owners and managers of the resort celebrated the opening that included a resort lighting ceremony and fireworks display.
Attendees were treated to a variety of craft cocktails and bites, from the resort's two new dining destinations - Three Embers and Wrights Brew & Bistro - as well as newly transformed room tours and event spaces, and a first look at the resorts new luxury spa, Xhale Spa.
Graycor Construction Company in Oakbrook Terrace handled the project, which included significant improvements to the resort's 390 hotel rooms and constructing a new pavilion.
The Bricton Group manages the property known for its 18-hole championship golf course and the Marriott Theatre, which has the largest subscription base of any live musical theater in the country.
The Lakeside Pavilion, a spacious outdoor tent offering views of the golf course and wooded area, was constructed adjacent to the hotel. The 5,000-square-foot, climate-controlled event space features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and serves as a year-round venue for weddings and various events.
A connecting corridor provides direct access from this event facility to the main building.
The resort is owned by LA RFMBG Lincolnshire LLC.
The Gettys Group leads the design of the project, with design services also provided by Stantec.
