Lincolnshire Marriott GM tapped for top honor

Eric Bates, general manager of the Chicago Marriott Lincolnshire Resort, was tapped Suburban Hotelier of the Year by the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association.

Each year the IHLA awards the outstanding accomplishments, service and leadership of IHLA member hotel employees in the hospitality and lodging industry at their Stars of the Industry Event.

Bates has been working in the hospitality industry since he was 16 years old, and was also recently named by Hotel Management Magazine as one of their "25 GMs to Watch."
