Gormley named Mainstreet Organizations of Realtors CEO
Mainstreet Organization of Realtors has hired John Gormley as its new CEO.
In his previous position, he was CEO of the St. Louis Association of Realtors, where he reversed a trend of multiyear budget deficits and was integral in blocking an unconstitutional ordinance in St. Louis County. Gormley also served as the vice president of communications and marketing for the Texas Association of Realtors. Additionally, he was responsible for increasing affinity-marketing revenue by more than 50 percent in one year.
Gormley also held association positions at the Textile Rental Services Association of America, Texas Nurses Association and the Association of Progressive Rental Organizations.
Gormley has an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a master's degree in Mass Communication from Texas State University.
MORe is the sixth-largest Realtor member organization in the United States and the largest local Realtor member organization in Illinois.
