Mitrick joins Lavelle Law real estate group

Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law has added attorney Kevin P. Mitrick to its real estate practice group.

The Homewood native is an experienced real estate attorney who most recently spent six years at Spain, Spain & Varnet, PC in Chicago.

After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mitrick went on to receive his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. Throughout his career, Mitrick has worked to help both buyers and sellers understand the legal processes of buying, owning and selling a home by serving more than 150 clients each year, participating in a variety of local organizations and contributing to a real estate video blog series.

"We're very excited to welcome Kevin to our real estate practice group," said Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "His experience and expertise will enhance our offering at Lavelle Law, helping us to serve more clients in the Chicagoland area."

Outside the office, Mitrick serves on the board of directors for the Darst Center for Social Justice, an organization that provides transformative urban immersion experiences that explore issues of peace and justice through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. He also regularly volunteers and fundraises for organizations that advocate on behalf of individuals with disabilities.

"I'm very honored to join the staff of Lavelle Law," said Mitrick. "I was drawn to the firm not only because of its reputation of excellence, but because of its commitment to serving the community and giving back through charitable work. I look forward to working alongside these attorneys and community leaders."
