Freedom Home Care sets grand opening

After 20 years in business, Freedom Home Care said it is opening its sixth location. The business, at 289 E. Deerpath Road in Lake Forest, is also the prototype for its future franchising opportunity. The public is invited to the official grand opening event from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Guests will hear about Freedom's services from Sharon Burack, Francine Brodsky and Jenanne Rock.

"We saw a great opportunity to open in Lake Forest and service the new Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and Lake Forest Senior Center community," says Burack, who founded Freedom Home Care over 20 years ago after 38 years in the rehabilitation industry working with seniors in occupational, physical and speech therapy, as well as nutritional and mental well-being. "I have always been dedicated to enhancing the independence and socialization for seniors," Burack said.

"Our new location will offer even more peace of mind to the 40, 50 and 60-year generations who are taking care of their 70, 80 and 90-year old family members," states Burack, "we want to cater to their needs and have the option to come into our location for in-person meetings, whether it's to meet their caregivers or collaborate on their loved one's needs."

Founded in 1996, Freedom Home Care is one of the leading and most respected home care agencies in the North Shore and throughout the Chicago area. From full-time live-in care to flexible hourly assistance, Freedom offers services to allow clients the freedom of being at home.
