Stan's Donuts & Coffee coming to Woodfield Mall

Daily Herald Report

Stan's Donuts & Coffee, is opening at Woodfield Mall's multimillion dollar Dining Pavilion later this month.

Only the second suburban location for the doughnut and coffee destination, Stan's will join Chipotle Mexican Grill, Blaze Pizza, Nic's Organic Fast Food and a range of other fast-casual eateries in the new Dining Pavilion, which opened in May.

Woodfield Mall will join Oakbrook Center in housing the doughnut establishment with another eight located in Chicago.

"We are thrilled to be reaching this milestone for our brand and opening our 10th store. It means so much to us to continue to bring our doughnuts and coffee to even more communities in the Chicagoland area, and we're honored to be partnering with Woodfield's must-visit Dining Pavilion to do so," said Stan's Donuts Owner Rich Labriola.

Brought to Chicago by artisan baker Labriola from a partnership and friendship with Los Angeles' Stan Berman, Stan's serves classic and creative doughnuts, ranging from popular standards to specialty doughnuts like the Glazed Old Fashioned, Lemon Pistachio Old Fashioned, gluten-free selections and Stan's signature Biscoff Pocket, along with Stan's Coffee from local Passion House Coffee Roasters and delicious ice cream.

Woodfield officials say it will be a nice addition to the food court.

"This isn't your father's food court," said Woodfield Mall director of marketing and business development Heather Lloyd. "Not only are our Dining Pavilion eateries destinations in and of themselves, but the sleek, modern design and natural light-filled openness of the space create an inviting environment our shoppers have embraced with overwhelming enthusiasm."

Woodfield Mall's new Dining Pavilion eateries join more than 30 pre-existing full and quick-service restaurants at the mall, including popular favorites like The Cheesecake Factory, Texas de Brazil, Uncle Julio's, Rainforest Café, P.F. Chang's and Kinfork BBQ & Tap.
