Clark names Rotary Club district governor

Julie Clark of the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates was named District Governor of Rotary's 68 clubs and 2,200 members in Chicago's north, northwest and west suburbs for Rotary's 2018-2019 year.

She guides the district, clubs and officers to support Rotary International's goals. Earlier, she was District Fall Seminar chair, assistant governor, trainer and received the District Rotarian of the Year award.

Clark has been a member of the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates for 15 years and president in 2010-2011. She was named club Rotarian of the Year and honored for living Rotary's Four Way ethics test in both her professional and personal lives.

Clark is a retired sales and marketing professional who developed recognition and service programs for Fortune 100 companies. She also served in business development and marketing for a senior care company. Clark is past president and a founding member of the Amita Breast Cancer Ambassador Group which supports education, public awareness and mentoring for those with breast cancer.

Rotary clubs support worthy causes and engage in hands-on service projects to benefit their areas.
