DPOE names Miceli director of sales

Des Plaines Office Equipment in Elk Grove Village has promoted 14-year company veteran Vince Miceli to the position of director of sales.

He will lead the company's sales team across its four locations: Carol Stream, Chicago and Rockford, and Chesterton, Ind. He is also in the process of helping with the firm's re-branding under the name Pulse Technology, which should be completed by early 2019. In his capacity as director of sales, he visits each of the company's locations each week and works directly with the growing sales team.

The West Dundee resident has served the firm as the Northern Cook County sales leader, and technology consultant prior to his latest promotion. Before joining the family business, he was a supervisor at DB Schenker in West Branch, Iowa.

Miceli earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. In his spare time, he is a "Wish Granter" for the Chicago area Make A Wish Foundation. He also enjoys watching the White Sox and is an ardent fan.
