Joseph Naper Building sold for $3.65M

Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate investment services firm, announced the sale of the Joseph Naper Building, the oldest building in Naperville, officials said.

Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager of the firm's Chicago Oak Brook office, said the 7,050-square foot, mixed-use property sold for $3.65 million.

Tammy Saia, Tami Andrew, Andrean Angelov, Ryan Engle, and Timothy B. Stephenson, Jr., investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Chicago Oak Brook office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The property sold to a California based private investor.

The mixed use, multistory property is located at 216-218 S. Main Street in Naperville. This location, two blocks from the River Walk, is centrally located on Main Street's historic retail corridor with more than one million square-feet of retail and 253,885-people living within a five-mile radius

The property is 100 percent occupied, consisting of five tenants; Alixandra Collections, J McLaughlin, Memory Keepers, Brodzinski Law and Passages. These suites are modernized units with top-of-the-line finishing and detail.
