Mettawa mayor joins Englewood Construction

Lemont-based Englewood Construction has hired Casey Urlacher, who will join the company's business development team, according to company President Bill Di Santo.

Urlacher, who is currently mayor of Mettawa, will continue in his elected role as he takes his new position with Englewood Construction. The brother of NFL Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bears player Brian Urlacher, Casey Urlacher played in the Arena Football League following his collegiate football career at Lake Forest College. He was also co-owner and manager of several restaurant ventures in the Chicago area prior to entering politics in 2013, and has been involved in commercial real estate development and investment personally as well as during his tenure as mayor.

Urlacher holds a bachelor's degree in business from Lake Forest College.

"As we continue to pursue new client relationships across a variety of commercial real estate sectors, Casey brings a unique set of contacts to the table with his background at the intersection of sports, business and hospitality as well as his involvement in local government," said Di Santo.
