Construction begins on Primrose School

CAROL STREAM - Construction has begun on a new, 12,000-square-foot Primrose School to serve communities including Carol Stream, Bartlett, West Chicago, Glendale Heights and Bloomingdale.

The new school will be owned and operated as a woman-owned business by a private investor, Vibhuti Vaghani and her husband.

The value of the project, including land and construction costs is approximately $5.5 million. Financing for the project was secured through a loan by the SBA Lending Division of HomeStar Bank.

Primrose School of Carol Stream will enhance education for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years old by providing adequate attention and care, and by preparing children for elementary school. The School focuses on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) early childhood education.

The new school is being constructed on an approximately 2.0-acre parcel of land at 1271 N County Farm Rd. in Carol Stream. The construction team includes ECA Architects and Level Construction Chicago. Enters Energy is completing the renewable energy program for the school.

According to Vaghani, construction will take approximately 10 months. A target opening is tentatively scheduled for late Fall 2019.
