Payroc acquires Detrok Technology Services

TINLEY PARK - Payroc LLC has acquired Chicagoland hospitality technology providerDetrok Technology Services.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

The payment processing company said the acquisition will enhance its position in the hospitality industry, while giving it access to the best technology solutions and related services to address the needs of independent owner-operator restaurant establishments.

"Payroc is focused on growing, both organically and through acquisitions," said Matt Austin, chief operating officer for Payroc. "We are dedicated to expanding and enhancing our offerings and sales channels," added Austin. "For this reason, Detrok Technology Services is a natural fit for our business and we are pleased to welcome them to the company."

Detrok's technology solutions and services are used by hundreds of Chicago area establishments to address point-of-sale, payment processing, loyalty, gift card, menu and inventory management, security, employee scheduling and payroll needs and more.

Payments industry veteran and Detrok owner James Derby will join the Payroc team, focusing on growing the Payroc's point-of-sale offerings and footprint. The Detrok brand will transition to Payroc during the coming months.
