OAK BROOK - Dee Dee McDevitt has joined the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau as content marketing manager, Executive Director Beth Marchetti announced.

McDevitt's primary focus is to work with DCVB leadership in the development, management, and execution of its marketing strategy and tactics across all marketing and media channels. DCVB continues to promote its new brand, "DuMore in DuPage," while simultaneously working to increase demand for overnight stays at the county's more than 100 hotel properties.

McDevitt will work to help further define and communicate the brand story to all stakeholders, including meeting planners, business and leisure travelers, supporting communities, members and industry partners.

McDevitt joins the team with more than 20 years of Fortune 500 corporation and nonprofit brand marketing and communications expertise. Most recently, she served as director of marketing and sales for DuPage Children's Museum in downtown Naperville. McDevitt was responsible for delivering 60 percent of annual revenues through membership, private rentals, ticket sales, retail, and successfully directing the brand portfolio. In her four years with DCM, McDevitt achieved record local, regional, and national media coverage for the 30-year old early learning institution.
