Blooming Color acquires Graphics Plus

LOMBARD - Blooming Color said it will acquire Graphics Plus Inc., a commercial printing and marketing services company in Lisle.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

The merger of the two companies will have up to 60 employees in four facilities in the Chicago area, where they boast one of the largest HP Indigo digital offset press fleets in the Midwest.

"For over fifty years, Graphics Plus has provided creative and print-based marketing support throughout the country,: said Graphics Plus President Michael Jais. "Joining the Blooming Color team will greatly expand our digital services, finishing, and distribution capabilities for our clients."

Blooming Color President Brian Scott said the two companies "will incorporate their skills with our additional capabilities, and we could not be more excited about what our combined entities will offer our expanded client base."

Blooming Color is ranked among Printing Impressions 400, which recognizes the top 400 print providers in the country.
